Elios

Elios was founded in 2015 by two individuals - Nicola and Guido and the idea was driven by a love for natural wines.

Despite different backgrounds, they shared a passion for nature, Sicily, and a desire to restore their families’ agricultural lands, which had long been exploited by industrial groups buying their grapes and olives cheaply.

Their goal was to produce wine using low-intervention methods, allowing the grapes to express their true character. Despite initial challenges, they took a risk in an area (Trapani) where most people sell grapes to large wineries, aiming to revive the region and showcase the potential of their farms.
