Domaine Vintur
Domaine Vintur: A Legacy of Passion, Craftsmanship, and Excellence
Nestled in the sun-soaked foothills of Mont Ventoux, Domaine Vintur is the result of British wine enthusiast Graham Shore’s passion and dedication. After purchasing the vineyard in 2010, Graham—armed with a diploma in Oenology and Viticulture—transformed the once-struggling estate into a thriving producer with a modern winery and boutique tasting room, blending tradition and innovation to bring new life to this Provençal gem.
Award-Winning Wines with a Story
The transformation at Domaine Vintur has not gone unnoticed. From 2012 onwards, the vineyard has won seven gold medals, four silver medals, and even the Trophy for Best White Wine in the region. These accolades include three consecutive gold medals at Millésime Bio, the world’s largest organic wine exhibition. It’s no surprise, then, that Jeb Dunnuck of Wine Advocate called Domaine Vintur “a domaine to keep an eye on.” Every wine at Domaine Vintur tells a story of dedication, heritage, and the relentless pursuit of quality. Whether it’s the Tradition range or the limited edition cuvées, each bottle embodies the passion of the people behind it.
A Vineyard Rooted in History
The vines at Domaine Vintur are not just plants—they’re living pieces of history. Spanning 12 ½ hectares, most of the vines are 30-60 years old, which means they’re mature enough to produce wines full of character, depth, and subtlety. The location of the vineyard, blessed with Provençal sunshine, mistral winds, and limestone/clay soil, offers ideal conditions for growing exceptional grapes.
Their Wines: A Taste of Provençal Passion
Domaine Vintur’s story begins with British wine lover Graham Shore, who purchased the Mont Ventoux vineyard in 2010 and transformed it with vision and care. With formal training in oenology and a deep love for Provence, he restored the estate, blending modern winemaking with local charm to create wines that reflect the region’s unique character and timeless appeal.
