L'Oiseau de passage

L'Oiseau de Passage is the winemaking project of Julien Frappa, a passionate vigneron dedicated to crafting wines that express the true character of their terroir. Working organically across some of France's most distinctive vineyard sites, Julien follows a minimal-intervention philosophy, allowing each wine to reflect its origin with purity and authenticity.

From the granitic slopes of Beaujolais to the limestone-rich vineyards of Burgundy, the wines are made with precision and restraint, showcasing freshness, balance, and a strong sense of place. The name, meaning "The Passing Bird", reflects a belief that the winemaker is simply a steward of the land, guiding each vintage while letting nature take the lead.

The result is a collection of elegant, characterful wines that combine energy, finesse, and a genuine expression of their vineyard origins.
