Casa Das Hortas

Casa das Hortas is a family-owned producer based in Baião, a region that sits between the mountains of northern Portugal and the Douro River. Founded in 1995 by the Azeredo family, the winery has become one of the established names in the area, producing wines from both the Douro and Vinho Verde regions.

Now in its third generation, the family continues to oversee every aspect of production, from vineyard management through to bottling and distribution. Their vineyards benefit from the varied landscapes and microclimates that define northern Portugal, creating wines that balance freshness with regional character. The connection to Baião remains central to the winery's identity.
