Comparini

Comparini is a small Tuscan estate located in the hills of Val d'Elsa, where the Montepagani Comparini family has farmed the land for generations. The vineyards occupy historic sites around Poggimele and Monteboro, areas with a long connection to agriculture and winemaking.

In recent years, Lorenzo Genesio Montepagani has led the estate's revival alongside winemaker Stefano Di Blasi. Working on a modest scale and producing only a limited number of bottles each year, the focus remains firmly on quality and attention to detail. The vineyards were replanted and restored with the aim of bringing new life to an historic site while respecting its heritage. The resulting wines reflect the landscape of inland Tuscany, combining freshness, balance and a strong sense of place with careful, thoughtful winemaking.
