Lupinc

Lupinc is one of the most important names in the winemaking history of the Trieste Karst, as it was one of the first companies that believed in the potential of this territory, given that Terrano was already being bottled here in 1968. Danilo Lupinc inherited from his father and uncle a land that was difficult to cultivate. It was he who understood how special the Prepotto territory was.

From the initial one hectare of vineyards in the 1970s, we have grown to the current eight hectares. It was Matej who imported the method of grinding stone with stone crusher tractors at depth (40 cm underground) to mix it with the earth and thus create new space for growing vines to the Trieste Karst. Vineyards over fifty years old and daily work in the vineyards bring the great results of Lupinc wines.
